The head chef is Julio who used to be the cooking phenomenon behind the John Barleycorn menu. I followed him over there and tried a couple dishes. I ordered one from the bar downstairs and later got a table in the restauranty upstairs. Fantastic Linguini Sacampi!! Also the Blue cheese burger was really good. It's worth noting that the friends I brought with me were vegitarian and they informed us that all the burger combinations could be made with Vegiburgers. My friends were also impressed!! One thing I loved at John Barley corn was the Tortilla Soup - Julio's own recipe. They let us know that that they will be making it soon at the Belvedere as part of the soup of the day rotation.
